Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance
Community Care Network is comprised of Rutland Mental Health Services and Rutland Community Programs, and they are seeking a Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with operational policies and regulations, overseeing risk management, and serving as the primary point of contact for complaints and grievances.

Responsibilities
Implement and maintain the Agency’s Risk Management Plan, outlining how to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risk for the organization
Develop and implement training on topics such as confidentiality, subpoenas, and incident reporting
Lead the Corporate Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Act at the Agency’s Private Officer, monitoring privacy policies to ensure the protection of client information in compliance with applicable laws
Develop, revise, and maintain policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct
Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure staff training on compliance topics for new hires and ongoing education
Serve as the Agency’s primary point of contact for complaints, grievances, and appeals
Triage and document concerns raised by individuals served, families, or external collaborators, ensuring timely response and compliance with regulatory requirements
Oversee the Agency’s safety program and ensure that the Agency is utilizing good practices in supporting individuals served
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, or related field required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, project management, with experience in leading charge and improvement initiatives
Knowledge of Vermont's mental health, substance use, and IDD service systems and community resources is a plus
Possession of Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) certification is desired
Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification is also helpful
Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written), including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont
Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire
