Responsibilities

Handle, process, and mix chemicals in a laboratory setting

Work with lab instrumentation such as FTIR, Instrons, DSC, Microtrac, titrators, & HPLC

Sample and test raw materials, propellants, liners, and explosive mixes

Prepare and collect raw test data

Perform complex mathematical calculations

Clean, assemble and dismantle test hardware, test equipment, and test apparatus

Perform laboratory support activities such as instrument calibration, cleaning, inventory, inspections, and material handling

Generate laboratory test reports, retain test data, and disseminate test reports

Generate, review, modify, and submit lab documentation
