10+ years expAmentum is seeking a Senior 3D CAD Modeler to join our team providing parametric modeling and engineering in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Integrated Topside Design. The role involves creating and updating 3D models of U.S. Navy ships and supporting shipboard laser 3D scanning and Computational Electromagnetic modeling and analysis.

Responsibilities
Providing parametric modeling in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Integrated Topside Design, which includes the creation and updates of 3D models of U.S. Navy ships, support of shipboard laser 3D scanning, and the development of models used in supporting Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) modeling and analysis
Qualification
Required
Minimum of ten (10) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise performing parametric modeling using Autodesk Inventor Professional
In lieu of Autodesk Inventor Professional, experience with Solidworks software will be acceptable
Demonstrated 3D CAD model development experience in one or more of the following: 3D CAD model development for ship structure; 3D CAD model development for weapon systems; using technical data to create 3D CAD models; importing native CAD models into a CAD platform to reverse engineer and recreate a modifiable 3D solid model; creation and modification to 3D CAD assembly models with greater than 1000 components; demonstrated experience with DoD; ASME, ANSI and other Military standards
Minimum one (1) year of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise performing product data management processes using Autodesk Vault Professional
In lieu of Autodesk Vault Professional, an Autodesk Vault Professional Essentials certificate of completion for the current release year and demonstrated experience with an equivalent product data management software will be acceptable
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific areas: file and folder permissions, version history, checkout/check-in; revision control, workflows, and product lifecycle states
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred
Autodesk Inventor Essentials certificate is desired
