Responsibilities
Own the implementation of critical components, cloud-native products, and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem
Mentor engineers and provide guidance on best practices, code quality, and system architecture
Contribute your deep technical knowledge to drive innovation and continuously evolve the product architecture
Collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap
Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
Experience with programming in Python or Golang
9-15 years of experience in a software development role
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network protocols
Strong and deep knowledge of Kubernetes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
Preferred
Familiarity with virtualization technologies like Openstack is a plus
