Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst - Patient Access

The Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst – Patient Access will assess current revenue cycle processes, collaborate with various teams to enhance efficiency, and analyze metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Works with patient access vendors, particularly Experian and Oracle, on new product implementation and existing product improvement
Evaluates eligibility vendor results and provides management regular updates on vendor performance
Discusses and troubleshoots user issues with facility patient access staff
Works with external vendors to resolve any issues affecting the patient flow or insurance resolution processes
Participates in testing and go-live events, both virtual and onsite, to implement new features or updates in patient access systems
Assists in development and execution of facility training and education
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members
Performs all other duties as assigned/required

Required

5-8 years of relevant experience
College degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or similar
Intermediate knowledge of revenue cycle operations, including an understanding of registration, charging, billing, collections, and denials management processes
Experience working in a patient accounting system
Using available online tools for claims and EOB review
Reviewing claim bills and remittances in document imaging systems
Experience managing projects and vendors
Delivering data-driven solutions
Supporting process improvement initiatives
Mentoring junior team members
Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
Up to 15% domestic travel dependent on business need

Preferred

Significant Revenue Cycle experience (i.e., 5+ years in addition to the minimum) might be accepted in lieu of certain college education requirements
