TKDA is a growing firm seeking a highly skilled Engineering Specialist / Designer to join their multi-disciplined Rail Division. The role involves designing and managing utility projects while collaborating with various professionals to enhance rail infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and develop utility infrastructure projects, including potable water, fire protection, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems

Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members

Conduct field inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

5-10 years of experience in utility design and project management

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
