Responsibilities

Generate Business: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities that align with our target customer profile for Deepnote's collaborative data science platform
Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong connections with potential and existing clients to ensure success
Understand & Articulate Needs: Comprehend client needs and effectively communicate how Deepnote's solutions address them
Collaborate: Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay market feedback and refine our offerings
Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales goals
Be Resourceful & Creative: Demonstrate ingenuity in reaching out to customers who can benefit from Deepnote’s offerings
Represent Us Proudly: Be the face of Deepnote at industry events and conferences, showcasing our product and brand effectively
Report: Track and report the number of opportunities created and meetings set to our head of sales

Qualification

B2B software salesEnglish proficiencyBasic SQLBasic PythonData science familiarityBI toolsTechnical concept communicationCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsSelf-motivated

Required

Proven success in B2B software sales, especially in data, BI, analytics, or related fields
Native or near-native English proficiency
Stellar communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

Preferred

Basic SQL and Python skills
Familiarity with data science and tech concepts
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience with notebooks, visualizations, BI tools, or data pipelines
