Responsibilities
Own critical product areas from concept to production: design and build features across our full stack, make architectural decisions, work directly with customers to validate solutions, and ensure your systems scale as we grow
Multiply the team's impact: write code that other engineers build on top of, establish patterns that improve our velocity, share knowledge that levels up the team, and help shape how we build at Opal
Qualification
Required
Experience in building customer solutions across the entire stack
Ability to design and build features across full stack
Experience making architectural decisions
Ability to work directly with customers to validate solutions
Experience ensuring systems scale as the company grows
Ability to write code that other engineers can build on top of
Experience establishing patterns that improve team velocity
Ability to share knowledge that levels up the team
Experience shaping how to build at Opal
Ability to take a customer problem, design the solution, and ship it across frontend and backend
Ability to question requirements and propose better approaches
Ability to thrive in undefined spaces and ambiguous problems
Desire to understand who you're building for and what they need
Passion or curiosity in IAM/security
