As a Member of the Technical Staff, you will join a team with deep expertise in machine learning, optimization, data science, and software engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions to complex strategic questions.
Responsibilities
Work on small, focused project teams (typically 2-4 people) to address complex strategic questions and deliver end-to-end solutions to ambiguous questions
Own the entire process—from framing the problem to building a solution and ensuring it drives lasting impact
Deliver coherent hierarchical probabilistic forecasting models, real-time delivery route planners, core recommender systems, and LLM-based agents to answer customer questions
Qualification
Required
Strong skills and professional experience in at least one of: software engineering in a collaborative, production environment or applied math, e.g., AI, operations research, statistics, probability, and/or machine learning
Excellent communication skills, can distill technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Comfort in a client-facing role
Preferred
PhD in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field
Successful track record leading large-scale technical projects, especially in a customer-facing role
Deep expertise and/or thought leadership in a technical field (e.g. influential writing, strong publication record, professorship)
