Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain system-level software applications for IOT/network devices
Coordinate with cloud/backend engineers to implement visualization/troubleshooting tools
Stay up-to-date on the latest IOT device trends/technologies
Collaborate with engineers and operators to implement telemetry/monitoring solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve large-scale field deployments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in developing applications in Linux-based operating systems with relevant background in telecommunication/ISP/networking industries
Strong programming skills in Golang, Python and C/C++, for both development and unit/regression testing
Experience with streaming/monitoring standards/strategies (gRPC, OpenTelemetry, SNMP etc) for service-provider networks
Experience in multi-threaded programming techniques, state-machine and event-driven programming
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in the Sunnyvale office at least 3 days per week

Preferred

Experience with low-level hardware/software integration
Cloud infrastructure/integration (GCP, AWS or similar)
Good understanding of security protocols and techniques
Experience working in start-up like environments where things can change on a dime
Joy in learning new technologies, learning from your teammates and teaching them as well!
