Responsibilities
Advance our industry-leading enterprise video solutions by incorporating already-great research into fault tolerant, low latency systems
Craft performant APIs using modern Python tools
Build the highest impact, not the flashiest, libraries and services
Mentor junior engineers/researchers, and hold a high bar around code quality / engineering best practices
Lead by example in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding passionate and empathetic engineers
Qualification
Required
6+ years of relevant industry experience
Designed production services using Python, Postgres, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic (and friends)
Demonstrated experience as a technical lead to deliver projects end to end
Exposure to machine learning models in production environments (e.g. deployment, serving, lifecycle management, monitoring)
Preferred
Scaling ML systems and/or data infrastructure to workloads of petabyte+ scale
Building Kubernetes-based systems for distributed data/ML workflows
