Responsibilities
Fabric Cutting
Accurately measure and cut fabric according to specified patterns and designs
Utilize Lectra cutting machines and hand-cutting tools to achieve precise cuts
Ensure minimal fabric wastage through efficient cutting techniques
Inspection
Inspect incoming fabrics for defects and inconsistencies
Identify and document any defects, ensuring that quality standards are upheld
General Duties
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Fabric Cutter, preferably with Lectra cutting machines
Knowledge of AutoCAD programs
Strong knowledge of fabric types including upholstery material, vinyl and leather
Previous cutting and inspection experience
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
General computer skills
