Responsibilities
Design and build backend API services in Go that scale to millions of users
Architect and improve infrastructure to support global product launches
Partner with data operations to integrate pipelines into backend systems
Work closely with the product team to ensure capabilities match customer requirements
Contribute to cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering
Lead by example—raising the bar on developer experience and team practices
Deliver features that empower customers and advance First Street’s mission
Qualification
Required
Deep experience in backend API development (with knowledge in GraphQL)
Experience in systems integration
Experience work with databases, either in Postgres or MySQL, including: debugging, optimizations, and queries
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
Preferred
Experience building and maintaining automated infrastructure
Experience in an environment that adheres to SOC II and ISO 27001 Compliance Standards
