Responsibilities
Define and drive Timescale’s AI product strategy in close partnership with the co-founder and CEO
Lead 0→1 product development and take new ideas from inception through launch and adoption
Develop a deep understanding of our target users and their problems, the competitive landscape, and market trends
Build strong connections in the SF AI and developer community, representing Tiger Data and identifying opportunities for influence and growth
Develop and execute on strategic partnerships with AI companies and platforms
Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and go-to-market teams to deliver products and drive adoption
Define success metrics, run experiments, and iterate rapidly based on feedback
Qualification
Required
Former founder with a proven track record of creating and shipping products from 0→1→10
5+ years of product leadership (PM or entrepreneurial), including 2+ years building AI products
Experience with databases or other technical products with high scale, high performance needs. Deep knowledge of modern distributed systems and the data infrastructure ecosystem
Based in San Francisco, with strong ties to the local AI and developer community
Technical background (CS degree or equivalent developer experience strongly preferred)
Ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical execution
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Entrepreneurial, decisive, and comfortable navigating uncertainty
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and problem-solving skills
