Responsibilities

Develop and maintain TypeScript products, libraries, and APIs that help companies find and fix accessibility issues in their code and on their websites

Contribute to our component libraries, following accessible, reusable component best practices

Write and review technical proposals

Write new features, unit tests, integration tests, and related

Assist in the review of pull requests, including security reviews

Assist the team in improving processes and policies on a regular basis

Help other engineers on the team grow through Open, Direct, and Respectful partnership/mentorship

Qualification

Required

7+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale SaaS applications

5+ years of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS

Experience mentoring and leading senior developers

Working knowledge of WCAG and ARIA

Working knowledge of web accessibility

Demonstrated work on a product team

Demonstrated work on JavaScript libraries, frameworks, or plugins

Basic secure web programming knowledge and experience

Source code management, pull request reviews, and related

Ability to work independently and learn as needed, but also know when to ask for support
