Start in 2026 SummerSpeedwell Construction, Inc. is seeking Project Estimating Interns for the summer of 2026 to support the estimating team in completing bids. The role involves aiding estimators, connecting with trade partners, and collaborating with project teams on various estimating tasks.

Responsibilities
Aid estimators working on bids
Make phone calls to subs and suppliers
Update the sub list on SmartBid
Help create/edit proposals, scope sheets, RFI’s and clarifications
Distribute bid documents, RFI’s, and Addendums
Prepare bid forms and documents for bid day
Scheduling of meetings and estimating events
Printing documents for estimators and subcontractors
Help with sub-bid tallies and reporting
Create hand-off meeting agendas
Attend estimating, hand-off, page turner, and other meetings
Learn Bluebeam, SmartBid, and Destini estimating software
Introduction to other divisions within Speedwell
Qualification
Required
Good written and verbal communication skills and willingness to make phone calls
General construction knowledge, familiar with construction terminology
Detail oriented, good organizational skills
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
Team player, willing to support any estimator
Must align with our core values of respect, diligence, humility, and sense of urgency
