Flipper Devices Inc is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with expertise in designing complex multilayer boards and antenna measurements. The role involves developing, debugging, and preparing devices for certification in technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Responsibilities

Development of electrical circuits: structural, functional, schematic
Selection of components, taking into account cost and production constraints
Design of multilayer printed circuit boards with high-speed digital interfaces
Preparation of output documentation and files for production
Debugging and testing of prototypes
Measurement and analysis of antenna and radio path parameters (working with VNA and spectrum analyzer)
Preparation of devices for certification (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.) and interaction with certification laboratories

Required

Deep knowledge of modern electronic component technology
Experience in developing and designing multilayer printed circuit boards (including boards with microtransitions) and working with high-speed interfaces: Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, USB 3.2, SATA, PCIe, LPDDR4/5
Understanding of differential pair routing, impedance control, signal integrity analysis, and electromagnetic compatibility
Proficient skills in measuring and tuning antennas (Sub-1 GHz, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
Practical experience in debugging digital and radio frequency circuits using modern laboratory equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Experience in preparing devices for certification (FCC, CE, and other regional standards)
Proficiency in Altium Designer at a professional level

Preferred

Knowledge of analog circuitry
Experience in analyzing and tracing radio frequency paths
Skills in working with simulation packages (analog, digital, RF)
