Responsibilities
Wrangle more than 40 teams across Amazon, communicating event updates, reducing siloes, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration in support of key seasonal retail moments—like Prime Day, Back-to-School, and Holiday
Develop workback timelines for key event tactics; establish a regular cadence of touchpoints to ensure teams are tracking against deadlines
Source inputs for external communication materials, including key messaging and deals, routing through internal channels to secure necessary approvals
Manage external PR agency on monitoring and reporting guidelines, coverage reports, and end-of campaign metrics
Identify key industry trends and announcements, drafting an analysis, and circulating with the appropriate stakeholders
Develop briefing documents for internal spokespeople at all levels for external-facing engagements
Qualification
Required
5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
Preferred
Experience leading large projects and facilitate group meetings
Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
Experience working with global teams and diverse partners
Can manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines
Outstanding attention to detail and bias for action
Thrives in a collaborative environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
