Responsibilities
Lead our infrastructure team to architect cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our business. This includes working with application teams in designing and deploying services in the cloud
Manage and maintain our Kubernetes infrastructure. This includes optimizing cluster resource usage, cluster monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes issues
Manage and maintain our AWS infrastructure using Terraform. This includes provisioning and managing AWS resources, automating AWS infrastructure changes, and monitoring AWS infrastructure performance
Coordinate infrastructure incident and outage response. This includes identifying and resolving incidents, communicating with customers and stakeholders during incidents, and effective post-mortem management

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
7+ years of experience with cloud platforms. e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP. (AWS preferred)
3+ years in a managerial capacity
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, etc
Mastery of CI/CD tools like Github Actions, ArgoCD, etc
Deep understanding of network architectures, software engineering, web technologies, SQL / NoSQL databases, and distributed systems
Proficiency in Go, Python, or Ruby, as well as bash, etc
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana and Prometheus
Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience working in a fast paced startup environment
SOC2 and/or ISO27001 compliance and audit experience
Experience working with security engineering and vulnerability management
Experience negotiating and managing relationships with cloud service providers and tooling vendors
