Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of projects from initiation through completion
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project milestones
Oversee the development of detailed engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements
Monitor project progress using earned value management (EVM), schedule performance indicators, and cost control tools
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget using appropriate verification techniques
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution
Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and post-project evaluations
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company policies
Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices to future projects
Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines

Required

Engineering/Construction background with Industrial experience in the Power, Steel, Chemical or Oil & Gas industries
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year College/University; and five (5) years related experience or Ten (10) or more years' experience in the Industrial Construction field as a supervisor or manager
Experience in leading the full lifecycle of EPC projects, from concept development through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
Excellent planning, scheduling, and financial management skills
Experience in proposal preparation and estimating
Knowledge in the use of engineering and construction documents, specifications, and drawings
Demonstrate skills critical for managerial success, including leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgement and developed personal, analytical and communication skills
Ability to attain, foster, and promote good customer relationships
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial, technical, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to write presentations that conform to prescribed style and format
Ability to effectively present information to upper management and customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam (PDF), and Viewpoint (Financial)
Basic computer skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) or Primavera (P6) scheduling software

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is preferred
