Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers working across Ruby on Rails, React, and PostgreSQL stacks
Architect scalable, forward-looking solutions that address current and future business needs
Drive the implementation of AI-enhanced SDLC practices, ensuring intelligent and efficient development workflows
Interface regularly with executive leadership to align technical strategy with business objectives
Oversee technology demand governance, ensuring prioritization and resource alignment across initiatives
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable development plans
Oversee project planning, sprint execution, code reviews, and deployment strategies
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
Ensure software quality, security, and maintainability across all projects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing software development teams
Strong proficiency in: Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, AI SDLC implementation (e.g., using AI tools for Code generation, testing, or optimization
Exceptional soft skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Skilled in conflict resolution, team motivation and cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated experience interfacing with executives and translating strategic goals into technical execution
Preferred
Experience in energy procurement, energy efficiency, or facility asset management
Experience in enterprise-scale systems or SaaS platforms
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Background in data-driven product development or AI/ML integration
Skilled in working with Mapbox and Swift (iOS) platforms
