Responsibilities
Preparing bridge construction drawings using Microstation and AutoCAD, calculate bridge rebars and bridge quantity
Performing bridge inspections with professional engineers up to 15% of the time
Preparation of construction documents based upon field surveys, available resources and client requirements
Technical problem solving
Collaboration with all disciplines and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
5+ years of design experience
Kentucky Bridge design experience required
KY PE required, ability to obtain OH PE within 6 months a plus
Proficiency in Microstation and AutoCAD
Experience in supporting engineers in plan preparation for project work
Experience in reading and fully understanding bridge construction drawings in the fast-paced multi-site industry
Ability to work within a team environment working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines through all phases of design
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal assistance
Have a working knowledge of codes, standards, and building construction methods
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at once
Valid Driver's License is required
