Clair Global is a company focused on providing quality cable-related services. The Cable Department Technician is responsible for the everyday workflow of the Cable Department by testing and packaging all cables and cable-related equipment to assure quality control.

Responsibilities

Perform check-out of all cables and cases
Prioritize workflow based on production calendar
Follow documented procedures to ensure that all cable related products pass all visual and mechanical tests before being cleared for field use
Record inventory transactions daily in the ERP system
Maintain all cable checking equipment in good working order as well as schedule or perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to test equipment in a timely manner
Operate the cable tester when necessary
Promote the maintenance of a clean and safe workspace
Assist other departments as required

Required

Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to various groups of internal and external customers as well as supervise employees
High level attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in cable systems trouble shooting techniques
Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment
Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions
High School Diploma

Preferred

2+ Years' experience preferred
