Responsibilities

Design, implementation, and project execution for product backends
Own on various products domains, preferably become a long term owner and domain expert
Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams to shape product behavior, supporting customers with advanced use cases
Collaborate closely with other backend teams, to improve our computation platform (API backend, query language and compiler, query optimization, streaming data pipeline, etc.)
Product robust and practical tests and monitoring

Required

BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and solid computer science fundamentals
2+ years of backend development experience
Backend generalist experience: comfortable working across backend and infrastructure stacks, even unfamiliar ones
Experience using Observability tools

Preferred

Well versed in driving projects: executing and navigating ambiguities
Practical experience shaping products with user feedback
Mastery of optimizing queries or data pipelines at scale
Experience developing query/storage engine for metric and tracing products (TSDB, Prometheus, Jaegar, etc.)
Open to Staff and Principal level candidates
