Responsibilities
Provide agronomic training to sales reps
Initiate and establish trials that will support marketing efforts for seed and our proprietary line of products to support division sales
Interpret soil, tissue, and water analysis
Research and respond to technical inquiries
Develop proprietary fertilizer formulations
Publish and distribute periodic summaries of agronomic observations and research
Serve as a technical sales resource for Crop Consultants on grower calls
Identify specific nutritional needs and opportunities coming from the field
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural or related major
5+ years' experience in an agronomist role
