OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a full time Electronic Technician to work at their World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electronics to component level, as well as creating daily production reports.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electronics to component level

Troubleshoot and repair equipment at the system level (training provided)

Solder through hole and surface mount technology components in the process of repairs

Create daily production reports for individual contributor

Qualification

Associate's Degree in ElectronicsSoldering experienceTroubleshooting skillsAnalogDigital circuitryTest equipmentA+ CertificationEffective communicationAttention to detail

Required

Associate's Degree in Electronics, or Technical School education with a completed certification in electronics is required

Ability to read various technical documentation (i.e. Schematics, Data Sheets, and Test Procedures)

Possess a fundamental understanding of Analog and Digital circuitry

Soldering experience with both through-hole and SMT (IEC/IPC-A-610 Training and certification or better a plus)

Demonstrate working knowledge of standard test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Power Supplies

Demonstrable skills in troubleshooting and critical thinking required

Must be an effective communicator with attention to detail

All candidates considered for a position will be administered and must pass an electronics exam prior to an offer of employment being extended

Preferred

Soldering experience with both through-hole and SMT (IEC/IPC-A-610 Training and certification or better a plus)

A+ Certification is a plus
