Responsibilities

Architect and develop scalable systems across backend, web, and mobile platforms

Design and implement performant APIs, services, and user-facing experiences

Collaborate with iOS, Android, and backend engineers to build a cohesive cross-platform product

Lead technical design discussions and set engineering standards for quality and reliability

Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security across the stack

Work directly with founders and product leads to shape technical and architectural direction

Potential to grow into a general engineering leadership role across multiple platforms

Required

5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack consumer applications

Proficiency across frontend and backend technologies, including: Frontend: React, TypeScript, modern web frameworks; Backend: Python, Go, or Rust; Database & Infrastructure: PostgreSQL, AWS, Vercel (or similar)

Strong understanding of system design, distributed architectures, and modern DevOps workflows

Deep sense of ownership and ability to move fast while maintaining code quality and stability

Experience handling complex data or real-money systems at scale
