Responsibilities
Work across the stack to build features and launch experiments that unlock opportunities and drive growth
Work on production code from day one in a pair programming environment
Deploy often and move quickly, having your work used by millions of students, teachers, and parents
Help further develop a high-quality engineering culture that values rapid iteration, collaboration, and best practices
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional software experience, preferably with several years experience in Growth Engineering or A/B Testing
Driven and motivated by growth engineering and experimentation as a practice
Generated and executed product experiments that drove significant scale in users and revenue, as part of a company that scaled from 10 → 100m+ active users
Driven technical tooling and process around experimentation
Ownership mindset: comfortable with both responsibility and accountability
Excited to get things done, in a fast-paced environment
Thoughtful about creating and maintaining a world-class engineering culture
Work well in teams and enjoy collaborating with engineers, designers and product teams
Enjoy working in a pair programming environment
Passionate about education and care about having impact on tens of millions of kids' lives with your work
Live and work in the Americas timezones
Preferred
Used React and/or Node at scale
Worked with MongoDB or MySQL
DevOps experience, especially on AWS
