They are seeking Excavator Operators for their Pipe Crew to skillfully operate excavation equipment for the installation of storm sewer pipes, ensuring effective water management and infrastructure integrity.

Responsibilities

Supporting Pipe Crew: Assist Foremen and other crew members by performing tasks such as trenching for pipe installation and skillfully lifting/positioning pipes and structures to ensure they meet all specifications and standards, while working around underground utilities

Maintaining Safety Standards: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others on the site

Learning and Development: Gaining hands-on experience and learning new skills related to heavy construction and site development

Operating Equipment: Operate heavy equipment for pipe installation and repair

Performing Manual Labor: Engaging in physically demanding tasks like lifting and transporting heavy materials, digging and grading with hand tools, and assisting with installation of infrastructure components

Ensuring Cleanliness: Keeping the worksite clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety

Communicating Effectively: Working as part of a team and communicating effectively with supervisors and coworkers to complete tasks efficiently
