Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Team Leader for their Emergency Department at the Main Campus. The role involves coordinating patient care processes, managing resources, and evaluating care delivery outcomes while promoting safety and efficiency in the unit.

Responsibilities

Identifies the procedures, processes, and patient care to be accomplished during the work period

Distributes the work of the unit in a manner that makes the best use of available resources

Provides ongoing coordination of work and resources as necessary to meet changing requirements

Evaluates individual and collective outcomes of the patient care provided during their shift

Compares patient care delivery to accepted standards and adjusts assignment of resources as necessary

Reports changing needs and outcomes to the health care staff

Contributes observations to individual employee evaluations and suggests competency evaluations

Advises and educates fellow staff

Serves as a Safety Coach on the unit promoting utilization of Hospital Acquired Condition Prevention and other Safety promotion behaviors
