Responsibilities

Provides high-level, executive administrative support to the Vice President for Student Affairs/VPSA
Independently exercises considerable latitude in determining and achieving own work priorities
Plays a critical role in the work of the Vice President for Student Affairs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Handles a wide range of special projects for the Vice President/VPSA associated with providing highly visible, sensitive, and confidential information to senior-level executives
Uses advanced communication and listening skills to perform work that requires access to a variety of sources of information
Analyzes and updates division procedures for improvement to maximize efficiency
Assesses situations to predict potential concerns, acts proactively to mitigate problems, and provides creative solutions
Performs complex work assignments to support strategic objectives of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Student Affairs division
