Coherent Corp. is a global leader in lasers and engineered materials, seeking an Epi Growth Technician to support on-shift activities and maintain production processes. The role involves working with engineering teams on new workflows, process development, and data analysis, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Support on-shift activities and deliver cross-shift passdowns

Maintain run to run VCSEL/PD production on production reactors

Run and read SPC charts

Perform basic OCAPS

Perform Additional Characterization Techniques As Required

Train operations in Work Instructions

Assist Engineering with new workflows

Assist Engineering with new process development

Assist Engineering with data gathering and analysis

Write new work instructions for Operations

Work with other process areas if needed

Qualification

Statistical Process ControlSemiconductor Environment ExperienceMS OfficeWork Instructions TrainingData GatheringAnalysis

Required

HS Diploma or higher and 2-4+ years of related experience

MS Office knowledge required

Work in a high volume semiconductor environment

Familiarity with statistical process control

Must be able to operate in a cleanroom environment wearing attire designed for a Class 100 operations

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System
