$44.88/hr - $46.22/hrValiant Integrated Services is looking for a Building Automation Engineer (Part-Time) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper function of the complex building automation system and executing work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Leads, directs, and teaches BAS system operators with solutions to systems problems, either troubleshooting the system or advise others on how to resolve problems
Diagnose and repair routine electronic control system malfunctions
Manage assigned work to meet professional execution, time, and customer satisfaction standards
Report problems or changes to management immediately
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or state-recognized GED
Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (based on previous experience and/or education)
User PC/software skill
Familiarity with Johnson Controls Metasys and or Schneider Electric Controls or equivalent platforms
Understanding of control programming and graphics for control systems
Knowledge and understanding of various communications protocols used in the industry including BACnet and Modbus
Familiarity with energy management systems, HVAC systems, and temperature controls, and related/integrated systems
Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, lift equipment, and roofs in heat/cold/day/night conditions
