ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - DFW
Diamond Coring Company is involved in the concrete pavement restoration industry, and they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a Project Manager. The role involves managing project resources, maintaining schedules, and ensuring effective communication with trade partners.

Responsibilities
Analyze and predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Recruit and manage relationships with trade partners in alignment with the company vision
Analyze and understand project scope and objectives
Manage and maintain a detailed project schedule and work flow
Maintain a safe and clean work site
Coordination of deliveries, material staging and storage as well as troubleshooting issues with deliveries
Provide support to trade partners to maintain schedule, delivery, additional labor or small tasks when labor gaps arise
Provide project updates on a consistent basis and report to managing member strategy, adjustments and progress. Keeping accurate daily logs and documenting the process with photos
Manage relationships with trade partners, vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Schedule and attend required inspections. Immediately follow up and schedule corrections if required. Manage re-inspection to minimize delays
Track project costs in order to meet budget
Qualification
Required
B.S. Civil Engineering or Construction Management or the equivalent of 2+ years of Project Management and estimating experience in concrete pavement restoration and road construction is preferred
Knowledge of multilocality labor agreements and prevailing wages and DOT specifications
The ability to travel is a must!
Have proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
Transcribe notes from meeting minutes, telephone conversations, and communications from the field
Train others to perform at acceptable levels on relevant office tasks
Preferred
HCSS experience is a PLUS!
