Responsibilities

Collaborate with origination teams to review new loan opportunities for credit fit, financial stability, and structural considerations
Prepare comprehensive credit approval memoranda for new transactions, amendments, and renewals
Perform financial analysis, modeling, and statement spreading to assess borrower risk and cash flow coverage
Structure loans across leveraged, hybrid, and asset-light models, including collateral evaluation
Conduct stress testing, covenant monitoring, and scenario analysis to inform credit decisions
Integrate third-party due diligence reports into the credit review process
Assess guarantor strength through review of financial statements and liquidity information
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and internal credit committees
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including risk management and legal, throughout transaction lifecycles

Required

Experience in evaluating and structuring leveraged and sponsor-backed transactions
Ability to manage a diversified portfolio with direct, club, and smaller syndicated loans
Experience in preparing comprehensive credit approval memoranda for new transactions, amendments, and renewals
Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and statement spreading to assess borrower risk and cash flow coverage
Experience in structuring loans across leveraged, hybrid, and asset-light models, including collateral evaluation
Ability to conduct stress testing, covenant monitoring, and scenario analysis to inform credit decisions
Experience in integrating third-party due diligence reports into the credit review process
Ability to assess guarantor strength through review of financial statements and liquidity information
Strong presentation skills to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and internal credit committees
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including risk management and legal, throughout transaction lifecycles
