Responsibilities
Motivating and leading a team in product research, design and development for battery management systems by working with various Engineers and Technicians across the company
Acting as the prime liaison with other departments
Promoting the New Product Development process and ensuring consistent use
Maintaining knowledge of regulatory requirements
Managing customer relations regarding part and product design, manufacturing and quality control issues
Developing supplier relationships and contributing to supplier identification and selection
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 10 years' relevant working experience to include: battery management systems, motor controls, software and construction testing
Minimum of 3 years managing and leading a team
Strong project management, supervisory and team building skills
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, testing and manufacturing processes related to product
Advanced understanding of data collection, automation and analysis processes
Proven ability to effectively solve problems with diverse groups of people
Strong interpersonal, written communication and problem solving skills to effectively interface with engineers, managers and customers
Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Preferred
