VP, Workers’ Compensation Product Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Workers Compensation product within Commercial Insurance, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
Build and nurture a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment
Lead cross-functional teams in product ideation, design, and launch, collaborating with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Legal, and IT
Advocate for the WC product with senior leadership
Leverage deep expertise in Workers Compensation to mentor and develop team members
Oversee the lifecycle management of the Workers Compensation product, including coverage and compliance
Accountable for the creation and execution of state-specific plans and filing actions, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of Commercial Insurance
Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive operational plan for rate filings and writing company strategies
Execute product enhancement work including research, launch, and rollout related to established product strategies
Ensure strategies and plans address compliance needs and regulatory requirements
Lead change initiatives to enhance the product development process, incorporating agile methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and automation to drive efficiency and innovation
Partner with IT, Operations, and Underwriting teams to ensure seamless implementation of product development initiatives
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to support the WC product
Ensure all product initiatives are executed with precision, efficiency and excellence
Cultivate strong relationships with WC State Bureaus and industry associations to position Chubb as a market leader and stay ahead of industry product trends
Represent the company at industry forums, regulatory meetings, and client presentations
Conduct market, competitor, and consumer research analysis to identify and recommend product enhancements, new market opportunities, and differentiated services
Analyze competitor filings to benchmark Chubb’s competitive position and inform strategic decisions
Identify market trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs to drive product enhancements and new offerings

Required

Highly motivated and experienced in Workers' Compensation product management
Leadership experience in driving product development and strategy
Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Actuary, Price-Modelers, Claims, Operations, Compliance/Government Affairs, IT, Premium Audit, and Marketing
Experience in developing and executing product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Ability to build and nurture a high-performing team in an inclusive and collaborative environment
Experience in overseeing lifecycle management of Workers Compensation products
Accountability for state-specific plans and filing actions
Experience in executing product enhancement work including research, launch, and rollout
Knowledge of compliance needs and regulatory requirements
Experience in leading change initiatives incorporating agile methodologies and data-driven decision-making
Ability to partner with IT, Operations, and Underwriting teams for product development initiatives
Strong relationship management skills with internal teams and external vendors
Experience in cultivating relationships with WC State Bureaus and industry associations
Ability to conduct market, competitor, and consumer research analysis
