Responsibilities

Build team: Hire and expand remote and local teams to meet roadmap requirements. Onboard, motivate and mentor exceptional engineers as productive players on the team

Be Hands-On: Actively contribute alongside your team to our Flutter codebase, including writing code, performing detailed code reviews, and tackling complex technical challenges

Drive Technical Vision: Work with product, business and engineering teams to develop strategic roadmap and execution plans. Lead architectural and design decisions for our mobile applications, to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems

Own the Delivery Pipeline: Oversee the team's agile development process, manage sprint planning, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features

Champion Best Practices: Establish and sustain best practices for mobile development, including code quality, automated testing, AI adoption, CI/CD, and performance monitoring

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers and backend engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions and delightful user experiences. Communicate clearly and effectively to the company about deliverables, design and architecture choices

Manage Releases: Own the entire mobile release process including internal test releases, from final testing through to submission to Apple App Store and Google Play Store
