Responsibilities
Manage construction contracts in the field, ODOT and OTA
Issue change orders, pay estimates, final estimate, audit, and close out
Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients
Write a scope of work for transportation Construction Engineering and Inspection - (CEI) services based on preliminary review and meetings with the client
Act as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers and technicians; manage and mentor staff
Acquire new projects from existing and potential clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma required, or able to obtain within 6 months
Familiarity with relevant transportation engineering codes and industry standards
Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record, traveling to the project site is a requirement
Position requires periodic field site visits in state, approximately 1 hour of travel daily
Preferred
ODOT or OTA experience is strongly preferred
