Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Structural Engineering
Penn State University is inviting applications for two tenure track faculty members in the area of structural engineering. The selected candidates will be expected to develop successful research programs and foster collaborations across various departments within the College of Engineering.

Develop innovative, multidisciplinary programs that draw on the complementary expertise of both departments
Conduct impactful research in structural engineering
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in civil, architectural or other closely related fields in engineering by the start of the appointment
Demonstrated ability as a researcher
Definite evidence of growth in scholarly or professional achievement for Assistant Professor level
Established reputation in teaching as well as scholarly and professional achievement for Associate Professor level
Ability to develop successful research programs
Ability to foster collaborations among different departments
Willingness to contribute within a community driven by impact
Ability to create/maintain an inclusive and respectful environment for all faculty, staff and students
