Responsibilities

Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity

Take full ownership designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Skool backend features, end-to-end

Build and maintain internal tools and infrastructure

Communicate and author architectural designs and requirements

Maintain and advocate for high standards through code review and collaboration between yourself and other engineers

Required

8+ years of experience building high-performance, reliable systems in a complex and distributed environment

Significant professional experience with Go

Worked on services using PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch

Significant professional experience building and maintaining Web Services

Experience in database performance optimization, backend performance optimization, and debugging live production services

Passion for writing maintainable and elegant code
