Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain high scalable, high performance and low latency distributed system using Java
Coordinate with offshore dev team to align on architecture design and ticket requirement, perform detailed code reviews and technical mentorship
Deploy, monitor and scale ad server system on Kubernetes in cloud environments
Participate in technical design reviews, contribute to architecture decisions and drive long-term platform improvements
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance and drive technical analysis
Ensure observability and operational excellence using monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and Opensearch
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience as backend engineer, strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience in Java, Javascript, Python, spring boot, Netty, Jetty
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud infrastructure(AWS/OCI)
Experience with high scalable, high performance, high concurrency and low latency distributed system
Experience with both SQL(Mysql) and NOSQL(aerospike, redis, dyanmoDB) databases
Experience with building REST based APIs and writing API specs in Swagger or similar
Familiar with CICD, bitbucket or Git
Strong ability to lead code reviews, mentor engineers and maintain consistent engineering quality standards
Preferred
Master's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
AdTech related experience in DSP/SSP/Ad exchange/Mediation SDK is a big plus
Experience with machine learning model building and development
Experience with snowflake and kafka
