Responsibilities
Develops and drives the strategy, implementation, and ongoing execution of Loss Prevention technology within the Ross Dress for Less and dd's Discounts organizations
Leads installation of new technology and maintenance of existing inventory of technology & equipment (i.e. EAS, CCTV, domes, mirrors, alarm systems, etc.) to improve efficiency of field LP teams, reduce shortage, theft and maintain safe and secure environments
May oversee or represent LP in store specific projects related to physical security equipment and safe and secure environments
Monitors assigned projects to ensure they meet scope, timeline, and budget needs
Regularly analyzes areas of responsibility and develops recommendations to improve Loss Prevention technology and related processes to ensure efficiency throughout Ross and dd's discounts
Leads and manages select Project Leads, Project Coordinators or Analysts that execute new rollouts from concept to completion or carry out maintenance of existing technology
Serves as a liaison and subject matter expert for LP technology within the organization
Responsible for continuous collaboration and communication with internal and external business partners (i.e. Executive Leadership, Field LP, Construction, Store Planning, Purchasing, Store Operations, etc.)
Manages LP technology vendor relationships and drives a high standard of service by managing and developing tools and processes to measure performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business or technology or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail, technology, or related field, including experience in product or project management
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
Excellent analytical skills and conceptual ability
Self-motivated individual who can be successful in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to cope with pressure and changing priorities
Maintains confidentiality concerning all projects
Computer Skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly preferred
