ServiceNow Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
Build automation workflows using Ansible and Terraform, triggered via ServiceNow orchestration
Develop and enhance Service Catalog items, business rules, UI policies, and client/server scripts
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to understand operational needs and translate them into ServiceNow solutions
Maintain and optimize CMDB integrations and data accuracy
Ensure platform scalability, performance, and security best practices
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and admins
Integrate ServiceNow with infrastructure platforms (e.g., Cisco UCS, virtualization platforms, storage systems) to automate provisioning and lifecycle management
Qualification
Required
Experience in ServiceNow development (including scripting, workflows, and integrations)
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and API capabilities
Experience with Cisco UCS, virtualization technologies, and enterprise storage systems
3+ years' experience in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation
Solid scripting skills in JavaScript, PowerShell
Familiarity with ITIL processes and CMDB best practices
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor's: Computer Engineering, High School (HS) (Required)
General Experience - 3 to 6 years
