Responsibilities
Act as a privacy expert in customer-facing discussions, translating complex regulations into actionable solutions
Work hand-in-hand with the CRO, CCO, and their organizations to embed privacy expertise into go-to-market operations
Support sales and marketing teams with insights, messaging, and enablement to align customer needs with TrustArc’s technology
Translate complex regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CPRA, LGPD, HIPAA, etc.) into practical operational guidance and privacy-by-design practices
Represent TrustArc at conferences and webinars as a privacy thought leader
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and influence innovation
Develop and deliver privacy training sessions and enablement materials for internal teams
Contribute to internal privacy initiatives alongside our VP of Knowledge & Global DPO and Deputy General Counsel
Support ongoing enhancements to internal data governance, privacy readiness, and responsible AI practices as part of a collaborative privacy leadership team
Qualification
Required
JD or Bachelor's degree with substantial real-world experience and/or certifications in privacy or related fields
7+ years in privacy, compliance, or data protection, ideally in SaaS or enterprise environments
Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences
Proven success partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams in enterprise SaaS or regulatory environments
Ability to translate legal and regulatory concepts into actionable, business-oriented strategies
Comfort with fast-paced, cross-functional collaboration and evolving product landscapes
Preferred
CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or equivalent certifications preferred
Experience in security and/or GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) is a plus
Passion for helping organizations do privacy better, at scale
