Responsibilities

As Director, you must have a clear sense of how each account is performing at any given moment, and step in as needed to support, brainstorm, and bolster impact
Provide strategic guidance to clients and team members on an ongoing basis - your input is expected to be founded in data, research, and a keen understanding of the cultural moment
Set account priorities and communicate them accurately and efficiently to team members as well as ensure that accounts are set up for success for what’s happening now as well as in the future
Work to define and analyze target markets and know how to position your clients to create a unique product identity
Develop, deliver and lead strategic client programs and initiatives. You must be an innovative thinker and set the standard for creativity in your division, with ideas that you personally can set into motion using your own industry connections and credibility
You are the first point of contact for your clients, therefore serving as both the mouthpiece and the ear for your teams

Required

At least 7+ years of experience executing PR and communications activities
An inside-out understanding of the Fashion + Retail industry
Comfortable managing teams, counseling clients and generating results
Ability to speak, write, present and communicate effectively
Rich relationships across all verticals of media
Managerial competence to oversee dynamic teams and an entire division
Ability to operate under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Clear sense of account performance and ability to support and brainstorm as needed
Provide strategic guidance founded in data, research, and cultural understanding
Set account priorities and communicate them accurately to team members
Define and analyze target markets and position clients for unique product identity
Develop, deliver and lead strategic client programs and initiatives
Serve as the first point of contact for clients
