Responsibilities
Perform precise dissections of frozen human brain tissue for research purposes
Conduct detailed visual inventories of samples, including anatomical characterization and condition assessment
Maintain accurate, organized records of dissections and inventories
Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient sample management and high-quality standards
Adhere to all institutional safety, compliance, and ethical guidelines for human tissue handling
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Neuroscience, Neuroanatomy, or a closely related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience is required
Strong foundation in human neuroanatomy, with dissection experience required
High attention to detail and organizational skill in documenting samples
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Clear communication skills for coordinating with colleagues and recording observations
Preferred
Prior experience working with frozen human brain tissue
Demonstrated ability to apply neuroanatomical knowledge in a research or tissue repository setting
