VP, Workers’ Compensation Product Manager

Chubb is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers’ Compensation Product Vice President to join their team. Responsibilities

Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Workers Compensation product within Commercial Insurance, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
Build and nurture a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment
Lead cross-functional teams in product ideation, design, and launch, collaborating with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Legal, and IT
Advocate for the WC product with senior leadership
Leverage deep expertise in Workers Compensation to mentor and develop team members
Oversee the lifecycle management of the Workers Compensation product, including coverage and compliance
Accountable for the creation and execution of state-specific plans and filing actions, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of Commercial Insurance
Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive operational plan for rate filings and writing company strategies
Execute product enhancement work including research, launch, and rollout related to established product strategies
Ensure strategies and plans address compliance needs and regulatory requirements
Lead change initiatives to enhance the product development process, incorporating agile methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and automation to drive efficiency and innovation
Partner with IT, Operations, and Underwriting teams to ensure seamless implementation of product development initiatives
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to support the WC product
Ensure all product initiatives are executed with precision, efficiency and excellence
Cultivate strong relationships with WC State Bureaus and industry associations to position Chubb as a market leader and stay ahead of industry product trends
Represent the company at industry forums, regulatory meetings, and client presentations
Conduct market, competitor, and consumer research analysis to identify and recommend product enhancements, new market opportunities, and differentiated services
Analyze competitor filings to benchmark Chubb’s competitive position and inform strategic decisions
Identify market trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs to drive product enhancements and new offerings

Required

10+ years of experience in Workers Compensation insurance, specifically in Product Management and/or Product Development roles
Deep understanding of Workers Compensation regulations, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
Deep knowledge of underwriting, coverage, rules, compliance/regulatory environment, and insurance financials
Experience managing large, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated ability to interact and across levels and organizations, including consensus and team building
Strategic thinker with the ability to address the diverse needs of Workers' Compensation customers across Commercial Insurance
Resilient problem-solver who can navigate complex business challenges and deliver results
Strong communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proven experience leading a workers compensation product and team. Must have experience integrating with the State Bureaus and Industry Associations
Ability to apply agile principles, practices and methodologies to manage projects, processes and teams in a flexible, iterative and collaborative manner
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement
Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Workers' Compensation product lifecycle
