Responsibilities
Installation of infrastructure hardware
Configuration and network connectivity across a range of delivery projects
Work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution
Drive and deliver the installation of our infrastructure services for Amazonians
Assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our infrastructure deployments
Refine operational procedures
Develop new tooling
Qualification
Required
BS in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience, may be coupled with certifications to include CCNA, JNCIA + industry experience
2 plus years of experience as a network engineer and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment with hands on experience with physical infrastructure installations including hardware integration, racking, and cabling
2+ years' experience in at least one infrastructure tech domain (e.g. networking, storage, server, OS Windows/Linux platforms)
2+ years' experience with project management at enterprise level
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
Preferred
2+ years' hands on experience with Cisco routers/switches/firewalls
Experience working with data and telecom carriers to procure, deliver, and activate network circuits
Experience administering, deploying or supporting Cisco or Aruba wireless network equipment
Demonstrated track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
