Tenured/Tenure-Track: Assistant or Associate Professor-Mechanical Engineering
Texas A&M University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in the J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will teach, advise, and mentor graduate students while developing an independent research program in robotics, automation, and mechatronics.

Qualification
Required
Earned doctorate in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering or science discipline
Demonstrated expertise and experience in robotics, automation, and mechatronics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to teach, advise and mentor graduate students
Develop an independent, externally funded research program
Participate in all aspects of the department's activities
Serve the profession
Must be US citizens and must meet the necessary qualifications to be considered for the position
Preferred
Complementary skills in machine design, ROS software, controls, simulation, dynamics, manipulation, mobility, perception and autonomy architectures
