Required

Earned doctorate in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering or science discipline
Demonstrated expertise and experience in robotics, automation, and mechatronics

Ability to teach, advise and mentor graduate students
Develop an independent, externally funded research program
Participate in all aspects of the department's activities
Serve the profession
Must be US citizens and must meet the necessary qualifications to be considered for the position

Preferred

Complementary skills in machine design, ROS software, controls, simulation, dynamics, manipulation, mobility, perception and autonomy architectures
